Lancashire Women's Winter Recreational League
The Lancashire Women's Winter Recreational League is an amateur football league for women in Lancashire, England. It is affiliated with the Football Association (FA).
History
The league was founded in 2017. The inaugural season consisted of 10 teams. The current season is the 6th season of the league.
Structure
The league is divided into two divisions: North and South. Each division consists of 10 teams. The teams play each other once, home and away. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division. The bottom two teams in each division are relegated to the lower division.
Current season
The current season is the 2022-2023 season. The North division is currently led by Ladybridge Ladies, with 20 points from 8 games. The South division is currently led by Salford Storm Ladies, with 18 points from 8 games.
