The Kingston & District Football League is an amateur football league based in Kingston upon Thames, Greater London, England. It was founded in 1896 and currently consists of 4 divisions, with the Premier Division being at Tier 14 of the English football league system.
History
The Kingston & District Football League was founded in 1896. The inaugural season consisted of 10 teams, and the first champions were Kingstonian.
The league has expanded several times over the years, and currently consists of 4 divisions. The Premier Division is the top division, and the Division One is the second tier. The Division Two and Division Three are the third and fourth tiers, respectively.
The league has been won by a variety of clubs over the years. The most successful club is Kingstonian, who have won the league 23 times. Other successful clubs include Malden & Coombe, who have won the league 11 times, and AFC Molesey, who have won the league 8 times.
Current Season
The current season is the 2023-2024 season. The Premier Division champions will be promoted to the Surrey South Eastern Combination Intermediate Division Two. The bottom two teams in the Premier Division will be relegated to Division One.
The Division One champions will be promoted to the Premier Division. The bottom two teams in Division One will be relegated to Division Two.
The Division Two champions will be promoted to Division One. The bottom two teams in Division Two will be relegated to Division Three.
