Toolstation Western Football League
The Toolstation Western Football League is an amateur football league in South West England, covering Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, western Dorset, parts of Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. The league's current main sponsor is Toolstation, so it is also known as the Toolstation League for sponsorship reasons.
History
The Western Football League was founded in 1892. The league has two divisions, the Premier Division and Division One. Each division has a maximum of 22 clubs. The Premier Division is at Step 5 of the National League System, while Division One is at Step 6.
The current champions of the Premier Division are Barnstaple Town. The current champions of Division One are Bridgwater Town.
Recent restructuring
In 2017, the English football league system was restructured. This resulted in the Western Football League being placed at Step 5 and Step 6 of the National League System.
