Ipswich Sunday Morning Football League
The Ipswich Sunday Morning Football League (ISFL) is an amateur football league based in Ipswich, Suffolk. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams competing in five divisions. The league is affiliated to the Suffolk County FA.
Season Structure
The ISFL season runs from September to May. Each team plays each other once in a round-robin format, with the top two teams in each division promoted and the bottom two teams relegated. The season culminates in a play-off competition for the championship.
Venues
The ISFL matches are played at a variety of venues across Ipswich, including Gainsborough Sports Centre, Playford High School, and Felixstowe Leisure Centre.
Teams
The ISFL has a wide variety of teams, from social teams to more competitive teams. Some of the teams that have played in the ISFL in recent years include AFC Bergholt, AFC Claydon, Borussia Martlesham, and Bourne Vale Utd.
