Intermediate One Football League
The Intermediate One Football League is an amateur football league in Scotland. It is the third tier of the Scottish Football League, below the Scottish Championship and the Scottish League One.
The league was formed in 1975 as the Scottish Football League Second Division. It was renamed the Intermediate League in 1994, and then the Intermediate One League in 2001.
The league currently consists of 18 teams. The teams are divided into two groups of 9, with each team playing each other team in their group once home and once away. The top two teams from each group at the end of the season qualify for the promotion play-offs, with the winners of the play-offs being promoted to the Scottish League One.
