History
The IAG Saturday League was founded in 1985 by a group of football enthusiasts who wanted to create a more competitive and organized league for amateur players in Guernsey. The league started with just eight teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has 16 teams competing in three divisions.
The IAG Saturday League is affiliated with the Guernsey Football Association and follows the FA's rules and regulations. The league season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other twice. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the lower division.
