Hyde, Oldham & District Sunday Football League
The Hyde, Oldham & District Sunday Football League (HODSFL) is an amateur football league based in the Metropolitan Borough of Tameside, Greater Manchester, England.
The league was founded in 1920 and currently has 40 teams competing in four divisions: Premier Division, Division One, Division Two, and Division Three.
The league's headquarters are located at the Mossley Conservative Club in Mossley.
History
The HODSFL was founded in 1920 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league's first season consisted of just six teams, but it has since grown to become one of the largest Sunday leagues in the North West of England.
The league has produced a number of professional footballers over the years, including former Manchester United and England defender Gary Neville.
Current season
The current season of the HODSFL began in September 2022 and is scheduled to end in May 2023. The Premier Division is currently being led by AFC Chadderton, while the Division One title is being contested by Afro Lions FC and Fox & Organ FC.
