Hull Boys Sunday League
The Hull Boys Sunday League is an amateur football league based in Hull, England. It was founded in 1920 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions.
History
The Hull Boys Sunday League was founded in 1920 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league initially had just six teams, but it has since grown to become one of the largest amateur football leagues in the country.
The league has been home to some of the best amateur footballers in the area, including former Hull City players such as Dean Windass and Nick Barmby.
Structure
The Hull Boys Sunday League is divided into a number of divisions, based on the standard of the teams. The top division is the Premier Division, followed by Division One, Division Two, and so on.
The league also has a number of cup competitions, including the Munro Cup, the Secretary's Cup, and the Challenge Cup.
Current season
The 2023-2024 season is currently underway. The Premier Division is being led by AFC West Hull Gunners, followed by C-Force United Football Club Sunday A and LIV Supplies Sunday.
The league's cup competitions are also ongoing. The Munro Cup is being contested by the top four teams in the Premier Division, while the Secretary's Cup is being contested by the top four teams in Division One.
