Huddersfield Junior District League
The Huddersfield Junior District League (HJFL) is an amateur football league for children and young people in the Huddersfield area. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 950 teams, from Under 7s to Under 18s.
The league is affiliated to the West Riding Football Association and is divided into a number of divisions, based on age and ability. Matches are played on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season, from September to April.
Divisions
The HJFL is divided into the following divisions:
- Under 7s
- Under 8s
- Under 9s
- Under 10s
- Under 11s
- Under 12s
- Under 13s
- Under 14s
- Under 15s
- Under 16s
- Under 18s
Each division is further divided into a number of leagues, based on ability.
Cup competitions
The HJFL also runs a number of cup competitions, including:
- The Macron Junior League Cup
- The Macron Junior League Challenge Cup
- The Macron Junior League Trophy
These cup competitions are open to teams from all divisions of the HJFL.
