The Herts Advertiser Sunday Football League is a Sunday league football competition in Hertfordshire, England. It was founded in 1974 and currently has over 100 clubs competing in its six divisions.
History
The Herts Advertiser Sunday Football League was founded in 1974 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league started with just four divisions, but it has since grown to six divisions. The league is currently affiliated with the Hertfordshire County Football Association.
Structure
The Herts Advertiser Sunday Football League is divided into six divisions: Premier Division, Division One, Division Two, Division Three, Division Four, and Division Five. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the lower division.
Cup competitions
The Herts Advertiser Sunday Football League also hosts a number of cup competitions, including the Challenge Cup, the Charity Cup, the Goulding Junior Cup, and the Goulding Senior Cup. The Challenge Cup is the most prestigious cup competition in the league, and it is open to all clubs in the league.
