Hertford & District Football League
The Hertford & District Football League is an amateur football competition based in England, founded in 1910. It has a total of three divisions, including the Hertford & District League Premier Division, which sits at level 13 of the English football league system and is a feeder to the Hertfordshire Senior County League.
The league is affiliated to several county FA's including Hertfordshire FA, Essex FA, Bedfordshire FA and the London FA. Clubs in the league must be affiliated to one of these FA's in order to participate.
The league season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams in the Premier Division are promoted to the Hertfordshire Senior County League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division One.
