Heavy Woolen Sunday League Division One
The Heavy Woolen Sunday League Division One is an amateur football league based in West Yorkshire, England. It is the top division of the Heavy Woolen Sunday League, which consists of four divisions in total.
The league was founded in 1920 and currently consists of 16 teams. The teams play each other once in a season, with the top two teams at the end of the season promoted to the Heavy Woollen Sunday League Premier Division. The bottom two teams are relegated to the Heavy Woollen Sunday League Division Two.
Recent Season
The 2022-23 season was won by Mirfield Town First, who finished the season with 70 points, 10 points clear of second-placed Linthwaite First. The bottom two teams, AFC Chickenley First and Cock Of The North First, were relegated to the Heavy Woollen Sunday League Division Two.
