History
The Hdyfl was founded in 1967 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their children with the opportunity to play football. The league started with just a few teams and has grown steadily over the years. Today, the Hdyfl has teams for boys and girls in all age groups from peewee to midget.
League Structure
The Hdyfl is a tiered league, with teams competing in different divisions based on their skill level. The top division is the Premier Division, followed by the First Division, Second Division, and Third Division. There are also several development leagues for players who are new to the game or who are looking to improve their skills.
The Hdyfl season runs from September to November. Teams play a regular season schedule, followed by playoffs to determine the league champions.
