Introduction
Harrogate Claro is an amateur football league based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1972 and currently has 30 teams competing in three divisions.
The league is affiliated to the North Yorkshire Football Association and plays its matches at a variety of venues in the Harrogate area.
History
Harrogate Claro was founded in 1972 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league originally had just two divisions, but this was expanded to three in 1980.
The league has been won by a variety of teams over the years, including Harrogate Town Juniors, Harrogate Railway Athletic, and Harrogate Town Colts.
