Harrogate & District FA
The Harrogate & District FA is an amateur football league based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1883 and currently has over 200 member clubs.
History
The Harrogate & District FA was founded in 1883 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first chairman was Mr. J.H. Emmott. The FA's first competition was the Harrogate Charity Cup, which was won by Harrogate Town.
The FA has grown steadily over the years and now has over 200 member clubs. The FA's competitions are played at all levels, from grassroots to adult.
Competitions
The Harrogate & District FA runs a number of competitions, including:
- The Harrogate Charity Cup
- The Harrogate Senior League
- The Harrogate Junior League
- The Harrogate Sunday League
- The Harrogate Veterans League
The FA also runs a number of cup competitions for younger players, including the Under-18 League Cup and the Under-16 League Cup.
