Halewood Summer League 2023
The Halewood Summer League is a football league for amateur teams in the Halewood area of Merseyside. The league was founded in 2000 and currently has over 40 teams.
Divisions
The league is divided into four divisions:
- Division One
- Division Two
- Division Three
- Division Four
The teams are seeded into the divisions based on their performance in the previous season.
Format
The league is played over a six-week period in the summer. Each team plays each other team in their division once, with the top two teams in each division progressing to the playoffs.
Cups
The league also has a number of cups, including:
- The Halewood Summer League Cup
- The Halewood Summer League Challenge Cup
- The Halewood Summer League Charity Cup
The cups are open to all teams in the league.
