About the G.S.S.L.
The Greater Seattle Soccer League (G.S.S.L.) is a non-profit organization that provides a competitive and recreational soccer league for adults in the greater Seattle area.
The G.S.S.L. offers leagues for all skill levels, including Open (all-ages), Over-30, Open MOD, Over-40, Over-50, Over-55, Over-60, and Over-65. There are also co-ed and women's leagues available.
The G.S.S.L. plays according to FIFA law, with the exceptions of unlimited substitutions and slide-tackle restrictions in the older age groups.
The G.S.S.L. has four league sessions per year: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. There are also tournaments held throughout the year, including the Evergreen Cup and the Paul Scherer Adult Invitational Tournament.
The G.S.S.L. is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all players. The league has a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind.

History
The G.S.S.L. was founded in 1972 by a group of soccer enthusiasts in the greater Seattle area. The league began with just a few teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has over 250 teams.
The G.S.S.L. has played a major role in the development of soccer in the greater Seattle area. The league has produced many talented players who have gone on to play at the college and professional levels.
The G.S.S.L. is also committed to giving back to the community. The league donates money to local charities and supports youth soccer programs.
