Gosport & Fareham Football League
The Gosport & Fareham Football League is an amateur football league based in Hampshire, England. It was founded in 1905 and currently consists of 46 teams, divided into three divisions.
The league is affiliated to the Hampshire FA and is a member of the Wessex Football League. The top two teams in each division are promoted at the end of the season, while the bottom two teams are relegated.
History
The Gosport & Fareham Football League was founded in 1905 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The original members of the league were:
- Gosport Town
- Fareham Town
- Langstone
- Titchfield
- Warsash
The league has grown steadily over the years and now consists of 46 teams. The current champions are Gosport Borough, who won the title in the 2022-23 season.
Divisions
The Gosport & Fareham Football League is divided into three divisions:
- Division One
- Division Two
- Division Three
The top two teams in each division are promoted at the end of the season, while the bottom two teams are relegated.
