Gloucestershire County Women's Football League
The Gloucestershire County Women's Football League is an amateur women's football competition run by the Gloucestershire County Football Association. It consists of three divisions and sits at level 7 of the women's football pyramid in England.
The league was founded in 1998–99 and currently has 24 teams. The top division, Division One, is promoted to the South West Regional Women's Football League.
History
The Gloucestershire County Women's Football League was founded in 1998–99 by a group of women's football enthusiasts in Gloucestershire. The league started with just two divisions, but has since grown to three divisions.
The league has seen a number of successful teams over the years, including Bitton Ladies, who won the league title in 2017–18 and 2018–19.
Current Season
The current season of the Gloucestershire County Women's Football League is 2022–23. The top division, Division One, is currently being led by Bitton Ladies, who have won all of their games so far.
The other two divisions are also very competitive, with a number of teams still in contention for promotion.
Future
The Gloucestershire County Women's Football League is growing in popularity every year. The league is committed to providing a high-quality football experience for all players, regardless of their ability.
The league is also working to increase the number of teams in the league. The goal is to have 30 teams in the league by the end of the decade.
