Fresha Devon and Exeter League
The Fresha Devon and Exeter League is an amateur football league in Devon, England. It is one of the biggest and most successful grass roots leagues in the country, with over 80 clubs and 130 teams taking part in nine divisions. Nearly 4000 players are registered with the league.
The league was founded in 1920 and is currently sponsored by Stitch2Print. The top division of the league is the Premier Division, which is followed by the Division One, Division Two, Division Three, Division Four, Division Five, Division Six, Division Seven, and Division Eight. There is also a Reserve Division for teams that play in the Premier Division, Division One, or Division Two.
The league season runs from August to May, with each team playing each other twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams in the Premier Division are promoted to the South West Peninsula League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division One.
The league cup competition is the Devon and Exeter Senior Cup. It is open to all teams in the league, and the winner qualifies for the FA Vase.
