Introduction
The Evo Stik Northern Premier Division One South is an English football league that is currently the eighth tier of the English football league system. It is one of two divisions in the Northern Premier League, the other being the Evo Stik Northern Premier Division One North.
The league consists of 22 teams, and each team plays each other twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Evo Stik Northern Premier Division, while the bottom four teams are relegated to the Northern Counties East League.
The current champions are Stafford Rangers.
History
The Evo Stik Northern Premier Division One South was founded in 2007, when the Northern Premier League was split into two divisions. The original 22 teams in the division were divided into two groups of 11, with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the final. The final was won by Stafford Rangers, who defeated Matlock Town 2-1.
The league has been won by a total of 10 different clubs since its inception. The most successful club is Stafford Rangers, who have won the title five times. Other clubs to have won the title include Gainsborough Trinity, Boston United, and Worksop Town.

The current season of the Evo Stik Northern Premier Division One South began on 6 August 2023 and is scheduled to end on 30 April 2024. The current leaders are Radcliffe, who have won 5 of their 6 games so far.
The other teams in the top five are Whitby Town, Ashton United, Basford United, and Gainsborough Trinity.
