Introduction
Erasitehniko Lefkosias is an amateur football league in Nicosia, Cyprus. It was founded in 1963 and currently has 10 teams. The league is played in a round-robin format, with each team playing each other team once. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Cyprus Amateur Football League, and the bottom two teams are relegated to the Erasitehniko Lefkosias B Division.
History
Erasitehniko Lefkosias was founded in 1963 by a group of students from the Technical University of Cyprus. The league was originally called the Technical University Football League, but it was renamed Erasitehniko Lefkosias in 1974.
The league has been won by a number of different teams over the years, including AEK Larnaca, Olympiakos Nicosia, and AEL Limassol. The current champions are CVAR FC.
