English Premier League (Amateur)
The English Premier League (Amateur) is a football league for under-21 players affiliated with Premier League clubs. It is the third tier of the English football league system, below the Premier League 2 and the National League.
The league was founded in 2013 as the Premier League Under-21 League. It was renamed to the English Premier League (Amateur) in 2022.
The league consists of 14 teams, each representing a Premier League club. The teams play each other twice, once home and once away. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Premier League 2, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the National League.
