Ellesmere Port Junior Football League
The Ellesmere Port Junior Football League is an amateur football league for boys and girls under the age of 16. It is affiliated with the Cheshire Football Association and is based in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.
The league was founded in 1972 and currently has over 50 teams playing in its various divisions. The teams are divided into age groups, from Under-7s to Under-16s.

Season
The league season runs from September to May. Each team plays each other team in their division once, home and away. The top teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated to the lower division.
Cup competitions
The league also runs a number of cup competitions, including the Challenge Cup, the President's Cup, and the League Cup. These competitions are open to all teams in the league.
