Eko Football League
The Eko Football League is an amateur football league in Lagos, Nigeria. It was founded in 2018 by the Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC) with the aim of promoting grassroots football in the state.
Structure
The Eko Football League is divided into two divisions: the Premier Division and the First Division. The Premier Division has 16 teams, while the First Division has 24 teams.
The teams in each division play each other twice, once at home and once away. The top four teams in the Premier Division at the end of the season qualify for the playoffs, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the First Division. The top four teams in the First Division at the end of the season are promoted to the Premier Division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Second Division.
