EFL Trust Futsal League
The EFL Trust Futsal League is an amateur futsal league for young people in England. It is run by the EFL Trust, the charitable arm of the English Football League.
History
The league was founded in 2016. The first season was played in the North West of England, with 12 teams competing. The league has since expanded to other regions of England, and now has over 100 teams competing.
Structure
The league is divided into regional divisions. The top teams from each division qualify for the national playoffs. The national champion is crowned at the end of the season.
Rules
The rules of the EFL Trust Futsal League are based on the FIFA Futsal Laws of the Game. However, there are some modifications to the rules to make the game more suitable for young people. For example, the game is played with a smaller ball and the goals are smaller.
