Echo League
The Echo League is an amateur football league in the East of England. It is affiliated with the Essex FA and offers many opportunities for junior grassroots football.
History
The Echo League was founded in 1972. It was originally called the Echo Minor Football League, but the name was changed in 1990.

The league has grown steadily over the years and now has over 200 teams competing in it. The teams are divided into different age groups, from U7 to U18.
Structure
The Echo League is divided into two divisions: the Premier Division and the Division One. The Premier Division is the top division and is home to the best teams in the league. The Division One is the second division and is made up of teams that are not quite as good as the teams in the Premier Division.

The teams in each division play each other twice, once at home and once away. The top teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated to the lower division.
Cup competitions
The Echo League also has a number of cup competitions, including the Echo Cup, the Echo Trophy, and the Echo Challenge Cup. The Echo Cup is the most prestigious cup competition in the league and is contested by all of the teams in the Premier Division and Division One.

The Echo Trophy is a cup competition for teams in the Division One. The Echo Challenge Cup is a cup competition for teams in the U13 and U14 age groups.
