East Midlands Womens Regional Football League
The East Midlands Womens Regional Football League (EMWRL) is an amateur football league for women in the East Midlands region of England. It is at the fifth and sixth levels of the English women's football pyramid.
The league was founded in 2007 and currently has 31 teams competing in three divisions: Premier Division, Division One North, and Division One South. The top two teams in the Premier Division are promoted to the FA Women's National League Division One, while the bottom two teams in each division are relegated to the East Midlands Women's League.
The EMWRL season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other twice. The league champions are decided on a points per game basis.
