East Anglian Counties Competition

The East Anglian Counties Competition is an amateur football league for men's teams in the East of England. It is currently contested by teams from Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire.

History

The East Anglian Counties Competition was founded in 1894. The inaugural champions were Norfolk.

The competition has been won by a total of 14 teams, with Norfolk being the most successful with 35 titles. Suffolk have won 26 titles, and Cambridgeshire have won 23 titles.

Current format

The East Anglian Counties Competition is currently contested by 12 teams. The teams are divided into two divisions of six teams. The top two teams from each division at the end of the season are promoted to the Premier Division, while the bottom two teams from each division are relegated to Division One.
