Durham County Russell Foster U21 football league
The Durham County Russell Foster U21 football league is a youth football league for players under the age of 21. It is administered by the Durham County Football Association (DCFA) and is one of the largest youth football leagues in the North East of England.
The league was founded in 1977 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions. The top division is the Premier Division, followed by the First Division, Second Division, and Third Division. There are also a number of cup competitions, including the Russell Foster Cup, the Durham County FA Challenge Cup, and the Durham County FA Junior Cup.
The league is played on a Saturday afternoon during the winter months, from September to April. Matches are played at a variety of venues across County Durham, including Maiden Castle, Chester-le-Street, and Houghton-le-Spring.
