The Dudley and Cradley Amateur Football League was founded in 1907 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league initially had just four teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has over 100 teams playing in its various divisions.
The league has seen some famous players over the years, including Ray Westwood, the uncle of the great Duncan Edwards. Westwood played for the league in the 1930s and 1940s and went on to have a successful career in non-league football.
The league's most successful team is Cradley Heath Town, who have won the league championship 12 times. Other successful teams include Tipton Town, Lye Town, and Brierley Hill Sports.
Current season
The current season of the Dudley and Cradley Amateur Football League is the 2022-23 season. The league is divided into 10 divisions, with each division having 10 teams. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the next division.
