Introduction
The Donegal League is an amateur football league in County Donegal, Ireland. It was founded in 1927 and currently consists of 3 divisions: the Brian McCormick Premier Division, the Donegal Physiotherapy D2, and the TDA Repairs D1.
The league is affiliated to the Donegal County Football Association. The current champions of the Brian McCormick Premier Division are Kilmacrennan Celtic.
History
The Donegal League was founded in 1927 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season of the league consisted of 10 teams. The inaugural champions were St. Catherine's FC.
The league has grown steadily over the years and now consists of over 40 teams. The Brian McCormick Premier Division is the top division in the league and is contested by the best teams in Donegal.
