Doncaster And District Sunday Alliance
The Doncaster And District Sunday Alliance is an amateur football league based in Doncaster, England.
It was founded in 1974 and currently consists of four divisions: Premier Division, Championship, Division One, and Division Two.
The league is affiliated to the Doncaster & District Football Association and is eligible to enter County Sunday cup competitions (league cups, cups, charity cups etc.) and the FA Sunday Cup.
History
The Doncaster And District Sunday Alliance was founded in 1974 by a group of local football enthusiasts.
The league started with just two divisions, but it has since grown to four divisions.
The league has been won by a number of different teams over the years, including Bentley West End S&S, Balby, and Innings.
Current Season
The current season of the Doncaster And District Sunday Alliance is the 2023-2024 season.
The Premier Division is currently being led by FC Durban Plough Football Club, followed by F.C. Ivanhoe First and Wheatley Club FC.
The Championship is currently being led by Alverley FC White, followed by Stainforth FC and The Crown (Askern) FC Mens.
The Division One is currently being led by Carcroft Village FC (SUN) First, followed by Finningley Athletic First and Markham Main Open Age.
The Division Two is currently being led by Armthorpe Markham Main Armthorpe markham, followed by Auckley FC and Brodsworth Welfare Sunday.
