Derbyshire Girls & Ladies League (A Charter Standard League)
The Derbyshire Girls & Ladies League (DGL) is an amateur football league for girls and women in Derbyshire, England. It is affiliated to the Football Association (FA) and is a Charter Standard League.
History
The DGL was founded in 1997. The inaugural season consisted of 10 teams in a single division. The league has since grown to over 100 teams playing in a variety of divisions, from under-9s to adults.
Structure

The DGL is divided into three divisions for adults: Premier Division, Division One, and Division Two. There are also a number of cup competitions, including the Derbyshire Girls & Ladies Cup and the Derbyshire Girls & Ladies Trophy.
The league also runs a number of youth divisions for under-9s to under-18s.
Recent seasons

The current season (2022-23) is the 26th season of the DGL. The Premier Division is currently being led by Amber Valley Ladies Football Club, while the Division One leaders are Belper Town Ladies.
