Derby Junior Football League

The Derby Junior Football League (DJFL) is an amateur football league for boys and girls under the age of 18 in Derby, England. It was founded in 1920 and is one of the largest junior football leagues in the country.

The DJFL has over 60 clubs and 340 teams, with over 4,000 youngsters playing in the league. The league is divided into age groups from Under-7s to Under-18s. There are also girls-only divisions for Under-7s to Under-16s.

The DJFL season runs from September to April. Each team plays 12-14 matches during the season. The top teams in each age group qualify for the playoffs at the end of the season.
