The Derby City Football League (DCPL) is an amateur football league in Derby, England. It was founded in 1920 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions.
History
The DCPL was founded in 1920 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season consisted of just four teams, but the league quickly grew in popularity and now has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions.

The DCPL has played a significant role in the development of football in Derby. Many former DCPL players have gone on to play professional football, including former Derby County players Kevin Davies and Chris Sutton.
Divisions
The DCPL currently has 10 divisions, ranging from the Premier Division to the Development League. The Premier Division is the top division in the league and is considered to be one of the most competitive amateur football leagues in the country.

The DCPL also has a number of cup competitions, including the Premier Cup, the Challenge Cup, and the League Cup. These cup competitions are a great opportunity for teams to win silverware and progress through the leagues.
