Introduction
Delhoescorts is an amateur football league based in the Netherlands. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams competing in various divisions.
The league is named after the Delhoescorts factory, which was located in the town of Deventer at the time of the league's founding. The factory is no longer in operation, but the league has retained its name.
Divisions
Delhoescorts has 10 divisions, ranging from the top division, Hoofdklasse, to the lowest division, Vijfde Klasse.
The Hoofdklasse is divided into two groups, A and B. The top two teams in each group at the end of the season are promoted to the Eerste Divisie, and the bottom two teams in each group are relegated to the Tweede Klasse.
The Eerste Divisie is also divided into two groups, A and B. The top two teams in each group at the end of the season are promoted to the Hoofdklasse, and the bottom two teams in each group are relegated to the Tweede Klasse.
The Tweede Klasse is divided into four groups, A, B, C, and D. The top two teams in each group at the end of the season are promoted to the Eerste Divisie, and the bottom two teams in each group are relegated to the Derde Klasse.
The Derde Klasse is divided into eight groups, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H. The top two teams in each group at the end of the season are promoted to the Tweede Klasse, and the bottom two teams in each group are relegated to the Vierde Klasse.
The Vierde Klasse is divided into 16 groups, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, and P. The top two teams in each group at the end of the season are promoted to the Derde Klasse, and the bottom two teams in each group are relegated to the Vijfde Klasse.
The Vijfde Klasse is divided into 32 groups, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z. The top two teams in each group at the end of the season are promoted to the Vierde Klasse.
