Crawley & District Youth Football League
The Crawley & District Youth Football League is an amateur football league for young people in the Crawley area of West Sussex, England. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams competing in leagues for players aged 7 to 16.
History
The Crawley & District Youth Football League was founded in 1972 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league started with just a few teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has over 100 teams competing in leagues for players aged 7 to 16.
The league is affiliated to the Football Association and its teams compete in the FA Youth Cup. The league has also produced a number of professional footballers, including former England internationals Danny Mills and Matt Le Tissier.
League Structure
The Crawley & District Youth Football League has a pyramid structure with teams divided into different divisions based on their age and ability. The top division is the Premier Division, followed by the Division One, Division Two, and so on.
The league also has a number of cup competitions, including the League Cup, the Challenge Cup, and the Floodlit Cup.
