Introduction
The Coventry Sunday Football League (CSFL) is an amateur football league based in Coventry, England. It was founded in 1923 and currently has 48 teams competing in 5 divisions.
The CSFL is affiliated to the Warwickshire County Football Association and is recognised by the Football Association.
The league season runs from September to May, with each team playing 22 games. The top two teams in each division are promoted and the bottom two teams are relegated.
The CSFL also has a number of cup competitions, including the Allen Toms Cup, the Bob Lancaster Memorial Cup, and the Brian Langford Memorial Cup.
History
The CSFL was founded in 1923 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season of the league consisted of just 10 teams.
The league has grown steadily over the years and now has 48 teams competing in 5 divisions.
The CSFL has produced a number of talented players over the years, including former Coventry City players Steve Ogrizovic and Micky Adams.
Current Season
The current season of the CSFL began in September 2022 and is scheduled to end in May 2023.
