Countries in Europa League Groups
The UEFA Europa League is a European football club competition organized by UEFA since 1971. It is the second-tier competition of European club football, ranking below the UEFA Champions League and above the UEFA Europa Conference League.
The 2023-24 UEFA Europa League group stage will feature 32 teams from 25 different countries. The following is a list of the countries that will be represented in the groups, along with the number of teams from each country:
- England (4 teams)
- Spain (4 teams)
- Italy (3 teams)
- Germany (3 teams)
- France (3 teams)
- Portugal (3 teams)
- Netherlands (3 teams)
- Belgium (2 teams)
- Russia (2 teams)
The group stage will be drawn on August 26, 2023. The teams will be drawn into eight groups of four, with each group containing one team from each of the four pots.
The group stage will be played from September 8 to November 9, 2023. The top two teams from each group will progress to the round of 16.
