About the Cornwall Girls Football League
The Cornwall Girls Football League (CGFL) is an amateur football league for girls in Cornwall, England. It was founded in 2015/16 and currently caters for U8's through to U16's. There are over 40 teams taking part in the league this season.
The CGFL is affiliated to the Cornwall Football Association (CFA) and follows the FA's rules and regulations. The league is run by a committee of volunteers and is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all players.
The CGFL aims to:
- Provide opportunities for girls to play football in Cornwall
- Develop the skills and confidence of girls footballers
- Promote the positive values of football
