Introduction

The Amateur Football Combination Division 2 is a football league in England that is affiliated with the Football Association. It is the fourth tier of the Amateur Football Combination, below the Premier Division, Senior 1 North, and Senior 2 North.

The league consists of 20 clubs, which are divided into two divisions of 10. The top two teams in each division are promoted to Division 1 North, while the bottom two teams in each division are relegated to Division 3 North.

The league season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other twice, once at home and once away. The champions of each division are determined by the number of points they have accumulated at the end of the season.

History

The Amateur Football Combination was founded in 1921. The Division 2 was created in 1965.
