Introduction
The City of Southampton Sunday Football League (CSSFL) is an amateur football league based in Southampton, England. It was founded in 1922 and currently has over 100 teams competing in 10 divisions.
The CSSFL is affiliated to the Football Association (FA) and its teams compete in the FA Sunday Cup and the FA Vase.
The league is divided into 10 divisions:
- Division 1
- Division 2
- Division 3
- Division 4
- Division 5
- Division 6
- Division 7
- Division 8
- Division 9
- Division 10
The season runs from September to May, with each team playing 20 games. The top two teams in each division are promoted, while the bottom two teams are relegated.
The CSSFL is a popular league with a strong following. The games are played at various grounds around Southampton, including St Mary's Stadium, the home of Southampton FC.
