The Chichester & West Sussex Sunday Football League was founded in 1981 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league initially consisted of just 4 teams, but it has since grown to include over 50 teams. The league is affiliated with the Sussex County Football Association and is recognized as an official Sunday league in England.
Divisions
The Chichester & West Sussex Sunday Football League currently has 1 division, called Division 1. The teams in Division 1 play each other twice, once at home and once away. The top 4 teams at the end of the season qualify for the promotion playoffs, while the bottom 2 teams are relegated to Division 2.
