Cheltenham Youth Football League

The Cheltenham Youth Football League (CYFL) is an amateur football league for children and young people in the Cheltenham area of Gloucestershire, England. It is affiliated to the Football Association (FA).

History

The CYFL was founded in 1967. It currently has over 100 teams playing in a variety of age groups, from under-7s to under-18s.

Cheltenham Youth action

The league is divided into three divisions: Premier Division, Division One, and Division Two. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the next division.

The CYFL also runs a cup competition, the Cheltenham Youth Cup. The cup is open to all teams in the league, and the winner is crowned the CYFL champions.
