Introduction
The Chelmsford Youth Football League Div 3 U16 is an amateur football league for under-16s in the Chelmsford area. It is a part of the Chelmsford Youth Football League, which is affiliated with the Football Association.The league was founded in 1970 and currently has 12 teams competing in it. The teams are divided into two divisions, with the top four teams from each division qualifying for the playoffs at the end of the season.
The league is played on a Saturday afternoon during the winter months. The matches are played at a variety of venues in the Chelmsford area.
Recent Season
The 2021-22 season was won by Baddow Spartak Y U16 Pumas, who finished the season unbeaten. The runners-up were Blackmore Youth U16 Blue, and the third-placed team was Brentwood Youth AFC U16 Lions.The top scorer in the league was Jake Smith of Baddow Spartak Y U16 Pumas, who scored 25 goals.
Upcoming Season
The 2022-23 season is scheduled to start on September 10, 2022. The fixtures for the new season will be released in August 2022.The league is always looking for new players.
