Charnwood Sunday Football League
The Charnwood Sunday Football League is an amateur football league in the Charnwood borough of Leicestershire, England. It is affiliated to the Leicestershire County Football Association.
History
The league was founded in 1974 and currently has 45 teams competing in 6 divisions. The top division is the AB Window Cleaning Premier Division.
Structure
The league is divided into 6 divisions:
- AB Window Cleaning Premier Division
- The Stirrup Cup Division 1
- Fish it Baits Division 2
- The Plough East Goscote Division 3
- Kenneth .J. West Division 4
- Charnwood Sunday Trophy
The top two teams in the Premier Division are promoted to the next season's Premier Division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division 1. The top two teams in Division 1 are promoted to the Premier Division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division 2. The top two teams in Division 2 are promoted to Division 1, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division 3. The top two teams in Division 3 are promoted to Division 2, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division 4.
