Introduction
Charity Football is an amateur football league that was founded in 1987. The league is based in the United Kingdom and consists of over 100 teams.
The goal of Charity Football is to raise money for charity. Each team in the league is required to choose a charity to support. The league also hosts a number of fundraising events throughout the year.
How it works
The Charity Football season runs from September to May. Each team plays each other team once, home and away. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Premier Division. The bottom two teams are relegated to Division 1.
The league also has a cup competition, the Charity Cup. The Charity Cup is open to all teams in the league. The winner of the Charity Cup qualifies for the FA Vase, a national competition for amateur football teams.
