Central Warwickshire Youth League
The Central Warwickshire Youth League (CWYFL) is an amateur football league for young people in Warwickshire, England. It is affiliated with the Warwickshire County Football Association (WCFA).
History
The CWYFL was founded in 1969. It currently has over 100 clubs and 2,000 players competing in 10 age groups, from Under-7s to Under-18s.
League Structure
The CWYFL is divided into two divisions: the Premier Division and the Division One. The Premier Division is the top flight of the league and is made up of the strongest teams. The Division One is the second tier of the league and is made up of the remaining teams.
The teams in each division play each other home and away, with the top teams at the end of the season being promoted to the next division and the bottom teams being relegated to the previous division.
Cup Competitions
The CWYFL also runs a number of cup competitions, including the following:
- The CWYFL Cup
- The CWYFL Junior Cup
- The CWYFL Challenge Cup
- The CWYFL Vase
The cup competitions are open to all teams in the CWYFL.
