Central Ayrshire YFA
The Central Ayrshire Youth Football Association (CAYFA) is a Scottish Junior FA affiliated grassroots football league, offering opportunities for junior grassroots football in the Scottish Central Ayrshire area.
History
CAYFA was established in 1975 and celebrated its silver jubilee in the year 2000. The association is affiliated to the Scottish Youth Football Association and through them to the Scottish Football Association.
Leagues
CAYFA operates and organises a variety of leagues for different age groups, including:
- Development four versus four football for age 7s
- Seven a side trophy free football in organised leagues for ages 8 through 11
- Eleven a side trophy free football for age 12s
- League Championship competition and various Cup Competitions for ages 13 and upwards
Cups
CAYFA also organises a number of cup competitions, including:
- The League Cup
- The Challenge Cup
- The President's Cup
- The Fair Play Trophy
